Whole School Open Day, What Does it Mean to be Human?

We are delighted to invite you to our Whole School Open Day on Saturday 1st October 2022 from 10:00am until 1:00pm. 

All departments will be open and running linked interactive activities on the theme 'What does it mean to be human'. A great morning of exploring the topic, meeting our staff, and finding out more about your child's educational journey at TGS.

During a period of great change, Thetford Grammar School has embraced technological and curricular innovation at the same time as reinforcing our essential values of Respect, Responsibility, and Resilience. Our community has continued to grow, whilst remaining a school where each individual pupil is known and cared for. Crucially, despite the uncertainties young people have faced over the past three years, personal development and academic outcomes in our Prep, Senior School and Sixth Form remain outstanding.

We hope you are able to attend and see first-hand how our new and bespoke Exploration Curriculum establishes a continuous journey of discovery from Prep to Sixth Form, and how our Pathways initiative helps GCSE pupils choose which routes to take at A level and beyond. You will be able to hear from our teachers and pupils how a TGS education fosters a life-long love of learning, take part in a range of exciting activities, and meet like-mined parents and pupils.
