I am pleased to say that despite the scaremongering the in press, our Year 11 students have bucked the national trends and yet again have scored above the national average for students gaining Grade 7 and above; an thoroughly smashed the national Grade 4 to 9 average. 73% gained levels 9 to 5 and 90% gained levels 9 to 4.
A real well done for a cohort who have had to battle through pandemic years, but who have come out fighting. I look forward to welcoming those returning to Year 12 and wish our leavers good luck with their future endeavours.
A Level Results
I am incredibly proud of the achievements of our Year 13 students this year. Despite this being their first set of external exams, they acquitted themselves well and we have another year of 100% passes.
80% of the results were in grades A* to C - a remarkable achievement for students whose run up to A levels has been full of lockdowns and on-line learning, and 31% of the grades being awarded at A* and A grades.
