Former Student

During my time in Sixth Form at TGS I studied Chemistry, Maths & Computer Science with the intention of pursuing a career in engineering.

Thanks to the great support and guidance from my teachers, I achieved the grades needed to move on to the next stage of my education.

Rather than take the traditional approach of a full-time university course, I chose a Degree Apprenticeship with Jaguar Land Rover, which involves both working for them and studying for an Applied Engineering degree at Warwick University. In the 3 years since leaving TGS I have had the opportunity to contribute to the engineering of future vehicles and have gained invaluable experience working within a large automotive firm as a Design Engineer. I would highly recommend a Degree Apprenticeship for anyone considering an alternative to the traditional university route.
