Thank you to The Friends of TGS for organising the most fantastic Winter Fayre! We think everyone will agree it was a wonderful event! Here’s just a snippet of what went on!
Year 3 were asked to provide a piece of Art based on the theme "Narnia" as part of Thetford's Christmas window trail, they used Mandala inspired artwork to create Aslan, the Lion from Narnia, we named the piece 'Aslan, King of The Beasts'. Well done Year 3!
This year Thetford Town Council’s Christmas theme is Narnia and the festivities are being kicked off with the Narnia Trail (launched Friday 29 November at 6pm at Whitehart Street).

The Artist of the Month for May is Olivia with her Dig for Victory poster for the topic on WWII. Olivia has layered and blended a range of colour pencils, to achieve her rich drawing of fruit and vegetables. Great work Olivia!
"The support and camaraderie that I experienced at TGS allowed me the confidence to pursue a career path that at times felt out of reach, and in my opinion that is the greatest service a school can provide a student. I am forever indebted!” #supportyourschools#tgstogether

We asked our Alumni to share how their time at TGS helped build their professional lives. "Without the support, extra hours and the personal touch offered by the teachers at TGS, my story could have been very different. Thank you, TGS!” #supportyourschools#tgstogether

Year 11 had a great first afternoon on their Silver Duke of Edinburgh Expedition in the Yorkshire dales on Thursday 11th April. They did a four mile familiarisation walk around Malham. On Friday they set off on the first full day of the Expedition. All are doing well.
