Early Years Foundation Stage
Children entering Thetford Grammar School between three and five years of age experience a curriculum which reflects the prime areas, the specific areas and the learning characteristics of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
The three prime areas of learning are communication and language, physical development and personal, social and emotional development.
The four specific areas of learning are: literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, expressive arts and design.
The three learning characteristics are: playing and exploring, active learning, creating and thinking critically.
We have so much fun with the children learning through play in a caring, friendly and nurturing environment where our children thrive.
