Having joined TGS as the Head of Chemistry in 2007, I feel honoured to have been recently appointed to the role of Head of Sixth Form. Having acted as a Sixth Form tutor for the past 8 years, I understand well the challenges of Sixth Form life. I am lucky to be assisted in my role by the ever-capable Miss. Dunsmore. Together with our excellent pastoral team and, in collaboration with our excellent teaching body, we aim to ensure that life at our Sixth Form is vibrant, successful and filled with opportunity.

Miss Daniella Dunsmore
I joined Thetford Grammar School as Subject leader of Religious Studies in 2014, having decided upon a creative change from teaching in Ladbroke Grove, West London. I relish the various opportunities offered by Thetford Grammar School and since joining, have enjoyed working with students across every year group in our charity endeavours, taking on the Reeds mantle, tutoring Years 7 and 8, and joining the Geography and History Departments. In my new role as assistant Head of Sixth Form, I look after both the APPS curriculum and the co-ordination of the EPQ. I also work 1:1 with many pupils, helping to build a positive mind-set both in terms of developing effective study habits, but also in terms of helping the student to realise their own responsibility for their potential. Together with Mr Ward, we take a holistic approach to leadership of our 6th Form students, making sure that both academic and personal progress are at the heart of our work with students, with the hope that they will get the very most out of their time here with us.
